Lookbook Nº 1The Patina CollectionMMXXVI

Editorial

Stories, weathered into surface.

rflectia art creates large-format digital artworks — 180 by 120 centimetres — where faces, cities and creatures surface through layers of texture, memory and time. Each work is issued once: a unique, certified original by artist Athar Saad Khalil, numbered, verifiable, and carrying its own story on an engraved brass plaque on the reverse.

This first lookbook gathers thirty-four works across twenty-five motifs, in five chapters — quiet faces, veiled portraits, old cities, wild creatures and still lifes. Every work is shown in situ, at scale, in the rooms it was made for.

Within each of us lies a spark of hope.

Sometimes hope rules our world; other times the shadows veil it.

Yet the optimistic spirit always seeks that spark — and finds it, even if it is just one drop in the ocean.

Refreshing Wind

Wind can be resistance in the cold, and lightness in the warmth.

In windy weather, we feel its bite; in the heat, its gentle caress.

How it unfolds depends on the season — how we experience it depends on us.

Sometimes, all it takes to find peace is a deep breath of fresh air.

Those confined cherish fresh air; the free often overlook its value.

Blurred Memories

Slørede minder

When we are alone, memories surface. They offer us a telescope into the past, and a mirror in today's light.

Some are sharp, like the sun; others hazy, like fog.

Together they reveal the truths of how we have changed — truths worth knowing, if we wish to understand ourselves.
